Voters can register themselves for the dry run, using the smartphone application in between October 8 and 18.

The Environment Ministry Shri Bhupender Yadav on Wednesday (August 14, 2024) said that three more wetlands in India have been designated ‘Ramsar sites’. This brings the total number of such sites in India to 85. The three new Ramsar sites are Nanjarayan Bird Sanctuary and Kazhuveli Bird Sanctuary in Tamil Nadu and Tawa Reservoir in Madhya Pradesh.
