What is Sociology ?

 

Sociology is just about undertanding what , why and  how of being " SOCIAL" ....... Parveen Bansal

 

Easily understood , we all say we all are social . But seldom we understand clearly what is being social. Sociology is all about exploring and understanding our own existence in society. It is the scientific study of society, social relationships including patterns of social interactions and culture. It uses a variety of methods to investigate and analyse the body of knowledge about social order, transformation and change.
