Conrad Sangma, the leader of the National People's Party, was sworn in as Meghalaya's chief minister for the second time in a row on Tuesday(7-3-2023). Shillong saw the swearing-in of Prestone Tynsong and Sniawbhalang Dhar as Meghalaya's deputy chief ministers.

• Others taking their oaths as ministers in the new NPP-led Meghalaya administration were Abu Taher Mondal, Kyrmen Shylla, Marcuise N Marak, and Rakkam A Sangma.
• Dr Ampareen Lyngdoh, Comingone Ymbon, Paul Lyngdoh, and Alexander Laloo Hek took their oaths of office as ministers in the newly formed NPP-led Meghalaya government.
