Direction: Study the following information carefully and answer the questions based on it.
Twelve friends are sitting on a table in a restaurant in two parallel rows of chairs containing six people each, in such a way that there is equal distance between adjacent persons. In row 1: K, L, M, N, O and P are seated and all of them are facing south. In row 2: A, B, C, D, E and F are seated and all of them are facing north. Two persons sit between D and C. D and C faces M and N but not necessarily in the same order. O and L are immediate neighbor of N and one of them sits at an edge of the line. M sits fourth to the right of O. Person who sits second to the right of P is facing a person who is not an immediate neighbor of D. Persons sit between M and O are same as persons seating right to B who is not facing K. E sits somewhere left to F but not facing K.
Four of the following five are a like in a certain way and so form a group. Which is the one that does not belong to that group?
K – B
P – D
M – B
A – L
C - N
- D and C face M and N, respectively. D is opposite M, and C is opposite N.
- O and L are neighbors of N, with one at an edge. Therefore, O sits at the left end, N is next to O, followed by L, M, K, and P.
- M is fourth to the right of O.
- P's second-right person faces someone not adjacent to D. This makes B face P.
- E sits on the left of F, not opposite to K.
- Right to B are seats for D and E.
Options Analysis:
1. ?? K - B: K and B are directly opposite.
2. P - D: P and D are directly opposite.
3. M - B: M and B are directly opposite.
4. A - L: A does not face L.
5. ?? C - N: C and N also directly face each other.
Correct Answer: Option 4 - A - L is the one that doesn't belong to the group as they do not face each other.
