Ranjeet drives his car at an average speed of 50 km/hr and reaches his destination in 8 hours. Rahman covers the same distance in 5

hours. If Ranjeet increases his speed by 10 km/hr and Rahman increases his speed by 20 km/hr, then what will be the difference in

time taken by them to reach their destination?

- Calculating Ranjeet's Distance:

- Average speed = 50 km/hr

- Time = 8 hours

- Distance = Speed × Time = 50 km/hr × 8 hr = 400 km

- Calculating Rahman's Speed:

- Same distance, 400 km, in 5 hours.

- Speed = Distance / Time = 400 km / 5 hr = 80 km/hr

- Modified Speeds:

- Ranjeet increases speed by 10 km/hr: New speed = 50 + 10 = 60 km/hr

- Rahman increases speed by 20 km/hr: New speed = 80 + 20 = 100 km/hr

- New Time Taken:

- Ranjeet's new time = 400 km / 60 km/hr = 6.67 hours
