President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Portugal and Slovakia from April 7 to 10, aiming to strengthen India's bilateral relations with these nations. 

Visit to Portugal (April 7-8):

• The visit commemorates the 50th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic ties between India and Portugal.
• President Murmu will meet with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, Prime Minister Luis Montenegro, and National Assembly President Jose Pedro Aguiar-Branco to discuss enhancing cooperation across various sectors.

Visit to Slovakia (April 9):

• This marks the first visit by an Indian President to Slovakia in nearly 30 years.
• President Murmu will hold discussions with Slovak President Peter Pellegrini, Prime Minister Robert Fico, and National Council Speaker Richard Rasi, focusing on expanding ties in trade, technology, and cultural exchanges.

These visits are expected to provide renewed momentum to India's relationships with Portugal and Slovakia.
