    UPPSC PCS exam Eligibility

     

    Educational Qualification required for UPPSC PCS exam

    The educational requirement for all the posts of UPPCS 2020 exam except some specialised positions is a Bachelors Degree of any recognised university from any discipline with any percentage of marks. There is no bar for the candidates having passing percentage only in the graduation exam.

    The candidates who are in the final year of their Bachelor's Degree program are also eligible to fill the UPPSC 2020 application form but with a condition that they have to submit the self-attested certificate at the time of Detail Application Form submission for the UPPPSC main exam.

    But there are various specialised positions and these positions required special educational qualification. The following are the positions which require a peculiar educational qualification.

    B.Sc or B.Sc. (Ag.) followed by a 15-month Post-graduate Diploma Course

    Tax assessment officer

    Bachelor’s degree (Commerce or Economics)

    Marketing Officer/ Secretary Group-II (Mandi Parishad)

    Account and Audit Officer (Mandi Parishad)

    Age Limit for the UPPSC PCS Exam

    The age limit for the UPPSC PCS exam is as follows

    Lower age limit: 21 Years

    Upper age limit: 40 Years

    The commission also provides the age relaxation to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories as follows.

    Marital Status

    The person having over one living wife/husband shall not be eligible for this exam unless the Honourable Governor has granted an exemption from this condition.
