SSA is a Group ‘C’ Level 4 post with GP of Rs 2400.

The in hand salary of an EPFO SSA would be around 40k+

SSA’s is one of the key posts in EPFO’ field offices set up. The promotions after this will be like:

1. Senior SSA(Non functional)

2. Section Supervisor

3. Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer

4. Assistant PF Commissioner

5. Regional PF Commissioner-II

6. Regional PF Commissioner-I

7. Additional Central PF Commissioner

8. Additional Central PF Commissioner (HQ)

However, an SSA in present scenario can be envisaged to be elevated to the post of Regional PF Commissioner-I to the most. However the same can be changed after cadre restructuring of the organisation.
