Brief Objective

Under this scheme, the state government will provide 50% subsidy to the socially bakward and unemployed (SC, ST, EBC) individuals from Bihar to purchase vehicles. The scheme also aims to provide financial help to the rural people so that they can start their own employment.

Benefits to the Citizens

A subsidy of 50% may provide financial relief to needy entrepreneurs or workers to invest in other aspects of businesses

Eligibility

=> 5 qualified applicants will be selected from each panchayat out of which 3 beneficiaries will be members of the Scheduled Castes / Tribes and 2 beneficiaries are extremely backward class.

=> The minimum age limit of the beneficiary will be 21 years as on the date of application invitation.

=> The beneficiary should not be employed in government service and should not have had any commercial vehicle in the past.

=> To get the benefit for a panchayat, the beneficiary must be a resident of the said panchayat.

=> The beneficiary must have the license of the driver of the light motor vehicle.
