The inflow of Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) has registered an increase of 26 percent during the first half of the current fiscal year when compared to the same period the previous year.

• The FDI inflow reached 42.1 billion US dollars till September last year, the Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasada, informed the Lok Sabha in a written answer.
• He said that the inflow of FDIs has come down a little during 2022-23, and the inflow began increasing during the first half of the current fiscal.
• He added that 29 thousand 790 million US dollars in foreign investment had flown in during the same time.
