It is an annual ranking of the top 2000 public companies of the world by Forbes magazine. The companies are ranked considering four parameters: market value, sales, profits, and assets captured during the last 12 months ending April 2022. This list is being published since 2003.

• Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (USA Company) took the No. 1 spot for the first time since Forbes started publishing the Global 2000 in 2003, dethroning the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, which dropped to No. 2 after nine consecutive years at the top of the list.
