The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) began its two-day Foundation and Technology Day in New Delhi. On the first day, school students were invited to learn about agriculture and allied technologies and view an exhibition on agri-innovations.

• Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan will officially inaugurate the event tomorrow, along with Ministers of State Bhagirath Choudhary and Ram Nath Thakur.
• At a press conference, Secretary (Agriculture Research and Education) and DG ICAR Himanshu Pathak highlighted key initiatives like '100 Days 100 Varieties,' '100 Days 100 Technologies,' and 'One Scientist One Product.'
• He also discussed advancements in water management, soil health, organic farming, seed technology, and agricultural tools.
