3. Satyakama Jabala: Upanishads

3 only
1, 2 and 3
Explanation: Makkhali Gosala belonged to the Ajivika School of Philosophy. They have often been described as the fatalists, those who believe that everything is predetermined. Ajita Kesakambalin belonged to the tradition of the Lokayatas (also known as the Charavaka), usually described as the materialists. The texts from these traditions have not survived, so we know about them only from the works of other traditions. Most Upanishadic thinkers were men, especially the Brahmins and the Rajas. Poor people rarely took part in these discussions. One famous exception was Satyakama Jabala, who was named after his mother, the slave woman Jabali. He had a deep desire to learn about reality and was accepted as a student by a Brahmin teacher, named Gautama, and became one of the best known thinkers of the time.
