It will also display the best practices and success cases from across the world.
It would complement the existing regional and international agencies and initiatives like bioenergy, bioeconomy, and energy transition.
Furthermore, it would also aid in the Clean Energy Ministerial Biofuture Platform, the Mission Innovation Bioenergy initiatives, and the Global Bioenergy Partnership (GBEP).
The global fuel alliance is one of the major priorities under India’s G20 Presidency.
Founded in: 2006
Purpose: GBEP brings together public, private and civil society stakeholders in a joint commitment to promote bioenergy for sustainable development.
Focus areas: The Partnership focuses its activities on three strategic areas: Sustainable Development – Climate Change – Food and Energy Security.
India is one of the observer countries.
