Jayanta Baruah gifted Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a copy of the Braille version of the Assamese Dictionary ‘Hemkosh’.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Hemkosh was one of the first Assamese dictionaries published in the nineteenth century.

PM Modi praised Jayanta Baruah and his colleagues for their efforts that resulted in the publication of the Braille version.
