India and Bangladesh agreed to curb trans-border crimes and launch necessary measures for ensuring peace and tranquillity across the border.  The conference was held from July 17 to July 21, 2022 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Highlights of the conference include:

• During the five-day conference, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) highlighted the need of building mutual trust and harmony between them.
• Indian side was represented by Director General of BSF General Pankaj Kumar Singh while Bangladesh was represented by DG BGB Major General Shakil Ahmed.
• Both the sides appreciated mutual concerns and committed to settle down different border issues by means of continued, constructive and positive engagements across all the levels.
