A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the state government of Himachal Pradesh and National Highways Logistics Management Limited (NHLML) for the construction of Ropeways in the state. Overview:

• The MoU has been signed under the central government’s ambitious Parvatmala Yojana.
• The ongoing developmental projects in Himachal Pradesh were also reviewed.

About the projects

The ropeway projects that will be constructed in Himachal Pradesh have a total length of 57.1 kilometres. The project will cost Rs 3,232 crore. The ropeway projects will help in facilitating a unique, environment-friendly, scenic, and seamless travel experience for the tourists.
