the work independently?

- Solving gives \(x = \frac{1}{30}\). Hence, B can do the work in 30 days.

- A’s rate is 1.5 times B’s rate: \(\frac{1}{30} \times 1.5 = \frac{1}{20}\).

- Therefore, A alone can do the work in 20 days.
