The table below shows the time taken by them to complete a painting when they are in static position and their maximum speed. When in running position the time taken by them to complete a painting increased by (60*n) minutes where n is the speed at which they are running at that moment. Note: Take n in m/s. When we say time is increased by (60*n) minutes, it means that time increased is directly proportional to n. A person has to start drawing the painting as soon as he starts running.
B started running at (2/3)rd of his maximum speed and continued at the same speed till the end of the race and hence completes the race in 180 minutes. As a result some part of his painting remains incomplete. Find the time required to complete this remaining portion of the painting in static position after he has completed the race.

Time that B will take to complete the painting in running position= 150 + (n*60) minutes n=2/3*1.5= 1 m/s Time required to complete the painting=150 + 1*60=210 minutes So in 180 minutes he completed 180/210 part of the painting= 6/7 Remaining=1/7 in static position B can complete 1 paining in 150 min; so 1/7 paining in 150/7 minutes
