If 45 persons can complete a work in 18 days, working 8 hours a day, then how many persons are required to complete two-thirds of

the same work in 20 days, working 9 hours a day?

- The total work needed is calculated as: 45 persons x 18 days x 8 hours = 6,480 person-hours.

- Two-thirds of the work requires: (2/3) x 6,480 = 4,320 person-hours.

- Allocated time to complete the work: 20 days x 9 hours = 180 hours.

- This means there is a need for: 4,320 person-hours / 180 hours = 24 persons.

Option 4: 24 is the correct answer.
