India drops to 85th rank from 80th in Henley Passport Index 2025

The strength of India's passport dipped five places to land at the 85th spot in the recently released Henley Passport Index 2025.

The strength of a country's passport indicates how many countries allow its holder visa-free access.
India shares the 85th spot on the Henley Passport Index with Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria. Indian passport holders, like those of the other two countries, get visa-free access to 57 destinations.
The Singapore passport emerged the topper on the index, with Singaporeans getting visa-free access to 195 destinations.
