IIFA 2024 took place in Abu Dhabi's Yas Islands. Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar took up the duties of being hosts for the evening along with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Abhishek Banerjee.

• Many from Bollywood landed up in Abu Dhabi to attend the event. Stars like Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rekha, Anil Kapoor and others attended glam to the event.
• Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji got trophies for the performances in films like Jawan and Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway respectively.
• Best Director was given to Vidhu Vinod Chopra for 12th Fail starring Vikant Massey. 
• Salman Khan's niece Alizeh Agnihotri also bagged an award for her debut. Hema Malini was honoured with Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema award. 
• Best Picture - Animal.
