The Union Health Ministry issued an Office Memorandum on the National Task Force, formed by the Supreme Court for the medical professionals' safety.. The 14-member Task Force features ex-officio members and experts. It includes Rajiv Gauba, Cabinet Secretary; Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Home Secretary; Dr BN Gangadhar, Chairperson, National Medical Commission; Anupriya Patel and Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav. The panel will be headed by Rajiv Gauba, Cabinet Secretary, Government of India as its Chairperson following the Supreme Court's direction on August 20.
