The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has initiated its first all-women commando unit, with training underway at the Regional Training Centre in Barwaha, Madhya Pradesh. The move is aimed at boosting gender parity and deploying women in frontline security roles such as Quick Reaction Teams (QRT) and Special Task Forces (STF) across high-security installations, including airports, metros, and Parliament.
