Bandhan Bank has officially announced the appointment of Partha Pratim Sengupta as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO), following the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) approval.

• Partha Pratim Sengupta has nearly four decades of experience in the banking industry.
• He is a seasoned professional who has worked across various geographies in both retail and corporate banking. 
• He began his career at State Bank of India (SBI), where he progressed to become Deputy Managing Director and Chief Credit Officer. 
• Most recently, he served as MD & CEO of Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) until December 2022.
