In the below question, a number series is given. Only one number is wrong which doesn’t ft in the series. Find out the wrong number?

- Start from 19: 19 / 2 = 9.5, rounded down gives 9.

- 9 - 1 = 8

- 8 x 1.25 = 10

- 10.5 x 0.5 = 5.25, anomaly appears to be here, small differences observed

- 18 x 2.5 = too high to compare, number out of context

- Anomalous jump at 18, pattern continues smoothly after removal.

- So, 18 (Option 2) seems like the wrong number.
