The Nation will celebrate its 74th Republic Day on the 26th of January. Display of the growing stature of women (Nari Shakti) in the armed forces will be one of the key highlights of the Republic Day parade this year.

• The Indian Navy and Indian Air Force marching contingent will be led by women officers during the parade.
• Nari Shakti (women power) will drive the theme of this year's Republic Day tableau of Navy.
• A woman aircrew of a Dornier aircraft will fly overhead, and Lt. Commanders Disha Amrith has been tasked with commanding its parade contingent.
• The Indian Air Force marching contingent will be led by Squadron Leader Sindhu Reddy.
• The marching contingent of IAF will consist of four Officers and 144 air warriors.
