Directions: In a city ‘X’, there are 240 users who use three different types of vehicles i.e. Bike,
Car and Truck. The number of users of all the three vehicles is 2.5% of the total number of users. The number of users of Car and Truck both are 36 more than the Users of only Bikes. The number of users of Car and Bike both is equal to the number of users of Truck and Bike both. The number of users of Car and Bike both is half the number of users of only Bike and also the number of users of Truck only is 10 less than the number of users of only Bike. The number of users of only bike is 34.
Find the difference between the average number of users of only Bike and only truck and the average of only Bike and the users of all type of vehicles.

6
None of these.
Let’s analyze each given statement based on the provided information:
- Only Bike users = 34 (given directly).
- Users of all three vehicles = 2.5% of 240 = 6.
- Users of Car and Truck (but not Bike) = 36 more than only Bike = 34 + 36 = 70.
- Users of Car and Bike = Users of Truck and Bike (but not all three), call this value x.
- Users of Car and Bike = half of only Bike = 34/2 = 17; so x = 17.
- Only Truck = 10 less than only Bike = 34 - 10 = 24.
Sum up all unique sets:
- Only Bike: 34
- Only Truck: 24
- Only Car: Let’s call this y (to be found)
- Only Car and Bike: 17
- Only Truck and Car (not Bike): 70
- Only Truck and Bike: 17
- All three: 6
So, total users = 34 + 24 + y + 17 + 70 + 17 + 6 = 168 + y
Set equal to 240: 168 + y = 240 ? y = 72 (only Car).
Required Calculation:
- Average of only Bike and only Truck = (34 + 24)/2 = 29
- Average of only Bike and users of all three vehicles = (34 + 6)/2 = 20
- Difference between averages = 29 - 20 = 9
# Checking options:
- Option 1: 2
- Option 2: 4
- Option 3: 8
- Option 4: 6
- Correct difference found is 9, which is "None of these".
---
- Each statement checked and values detailed above.
- Final answer: 9, not listed among the options.
- So, option:5 ("None of these") is correct.
Correct Answer: Option:5 - None of these.
