Directions: Study the information carefully and answer the questions given below
There are seven persons who are working in the same company on different designations and the person who is working on that designation is named A, B, C, D, E, F, and G but not necessarily in the same order. They have different designations starting from the clerk, officer, Assistant Manager, manager, Assistant General manager, General manager, Director. Director is the topmost post of the company and the clerk is the lowermost post of the company.
The number of designations above C is the same as the number of designation bellow C. B’s and F’s designations is not near to C. The number of person designations between F and B is three. D is at the topmost position. A is senior to G. Three persons sit between A and G. F’s designation is not near to A.
Which of the following person is Officer?
B
A
F
E
G
Let’s break it down:
- There are seven people: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, each at one company position from Clerk (lowest) up to Director (highest).
- C is in the middle, so 3 posts are both above and below C.
- D is at the very top (Director).
- The number of people between F and B is three.
- F and B are not next to C.
- F is not next to A.
- A is senior to G, with three people between them.
Here’s the structure, top to bottom:
1. Director – D
2. General Manager
3. Assistant General Manager
4. Manager – C
5. Assistant Manager
6. Officer
7. Clerk
Now, C sits right in the middle as “Manager.” D is Director, topmost.
A is above G, with three people between: So A _ _ _ G.
The three between F and B can only work if they are far apart, like 1st and 5th, or 2nd and 6th, etc.
Add in the not-neighbor bits for F, B, A, and C.
Here's the filled pattern after logic:
1. Director - D
2. General Manager - A
3. Assistant General Manager - F
4. Manager - C
5. Assistant Manager - B
6. Officer - E
7. Clerk - G
So E is the Officer.
Option 4: E
- F is actually Assistant General Manager, not Officer.
- The answer is E.
- Each statement lines up: C in the middle, D on top, three between A and G, and so on.
- That’s what all the clues add up to.
Short version: E is the Officer, not F.
