Quantity of mixture = 55 litres

Ratio of juice and water = 4:1

Let the quantity of juice and water be 4x and 1x.
So, the total quantity of mixture = 5x
⇒ 5x = 55 L
⇒x= 11 L
Initial Quantity of juice = 44 L
Initial Quantity of water = 11 L
Let the amount of water added be y litres.
⇒ 44/(11 + y) = 2/1
⇒ 44 = 22 + 2y
⇒2y= 44-22
⇒y = 11 litres
