Seven friends Aditya, Harsha, Sravya, Nidhi, Karun, Prem and Umesh, are sitting in a row facing north, but not necessarily in the

same order, and watching a film in the theatre. Prem sits at the second position from either right or left. Two persons sit

between Nidhi and Prem. Sravya sits fourth to the left of Karun. Umesh sits to the immediate left of Nidhi. Harsha sits third to

the right of Sravya. Sravya is not sitting at an extreme end.

Who sits to the immediate right of Prem?

- Prem sits second from either end. We place Prem second from the left.

- There are two persons between Nidhi and Prem. This means Nidhi is either on the fifth position from the left or second position from the right.

- Umesh sits immediately to the left of Nidhi. So, Umesh sits in the fourth position. That confirms Nidhi in the fifth position.

- Sravya isn't at an extreme end, so she can be in the third or fourth positions.

- Sravya sits fourth left of Karun. If Sravya is on the third position, Karun would be on the seventh position, the extreme end.

- Harsha sits third right of Sravya. That would place Harsha on the sixth position, making Karun's placement at seventh logical.

- Now Aditya will sit in the first position.

The arrangement is Aditya, Prem, Sravya, Umesh, Nidhi, Harsha, Karun.

So, Sravya sits to the immediate right of Prem.
