education and other expense. If she saves Rs5,940, then find out the expense on rent.

Calculations:

4. Remaining is 60% of X (X - 0.24X - 0.16X = 0.6X).

5. She spends 55% of remaining 0.6X on education and other, leaving savings as 45% of 0.6X.

6. Savings: 0.45 * 0.6X = Rs. 5,940.

7. Solve for X: X = 5,940 / (0.45 * 0.6).

X = 22,000.

8. Rent (16% of income): 0.16 * 22,000 = Rs. 3,520.
