P, Q, R, S, T, U and V are seven friends who scored different marks in a test. Scores of only two people lies between the scores

of S and P with score of P greater than S.. R scored the highest marks. T scored more than Q. U and V scored second least and

the least marks respectively. Who scored the fourth highest marks?

- R scored the highest marks. He is at the top of the list.

- U and V have the two lowest scores, with V being the lowest and U being the second lowest.

- P scored more than S, with two scores between them.

- T scored more than Q, so T must be after Q in the ranking.

To find the fourth highest scorer:

1. R is the highest.

2. Two scores lie between S and P, so P is higher than S. Positions for P and S depend on T and Q.

3. U and V are at the bottom.

4. T scored more than Q, so T must be higher than Q.

By elimination:

- Sequence might be R, P, T, (who stays between two scores) Q, S, U, V.

- Thus, S is likely the fourth-highest.
