Under the scheme for different ailments 1576 types of packages and procedures will be available.

The disease for which a patient is admitted to a hospital, 5 days prior to that and 10 days after the discharge from the hospital all expenditure on investigation, medicines and consultation fee in the hospital will be included in the package.

Under  this  scheme  an  insurance  cover  of t 4.50 Lakhs is payable per year per family for serious ailments
