- Feroz Shah Tughlaq: He was from the Tughlaq dynasty and ruled after Muhammad bin Tughlaq. His rule was known for public works, but his territorial control did not extend to the whole of India.
- Alauddin Khilji: He was the Sultan of Delhi from the Khilji dynasty and is known for expanding his empire to cover almost all of India, reaching into the extreme south, including the Tamil region.
- Jalal-ud-din Khilji: He was the founder of the Khilji dynasty. His reign was relatively short and did not include vast expansion.
