Akhil takes 30 minutes extra to cover a distance of 150 km if he drives 10 km/h slower than his usual speed. How much time

will he take to drive 90 km if he drives 15 km per hourslowerthan his usual speed?

- At (x - 10) km/h, he takes 30 min (0.5 hr) more for 150 km.

- So, 150/(x - 10) - 150/x = 0.5

- Solving, we get:

150x - 150(x - 10) = 0.5x(x - 10)

150x - 150x + 1500 = 0.5x^2 - 5x

1500 = 0.5x^2 - 5x

0.5x^2 - 5x - 1500 = 0

x^2 - 10x - 3000 = 0

x = 60 km/h (since speed can't be negative)
