Who presides over the joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha?

- Option 1: Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha

The Deputy Speaker assists the Speaker but doesn't preside over joint sittings.

The Prime Minister is the head of the government but doesn't preside over joint sessions.

- Option 3: Vice President

The Vice President is the chairperson of the Rajya Sabha, but not the joint sessions.

- Option 4: Speaker of Lok Sabha

The Speaker of the Lok Sabha presides over the joint session when called. This usually happens when there is a legislative deadlock.
