IBPS (RRB) PO SyllabusIBPS RRB Officer Group A Syllabus
The syllabus of Officer Grade is almost similar to that of IBPS RRB 2019 Assistant. The only difference occurs in the professional knowledge paper. The Officer Grade has an additional section of General Awareness apart from Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English/Hindi Language, Computer Language, Computer Applications and Professional Knowledge.

For IBPS RRB Officer Group A 2020, exam will be conducted in three phases:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Interview Process
The final selection will be made on the cumulative score obtained by the candidate in both IBPS RRB Mains Exam and the Interview. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate.

The candidates attempting the IBPS RRB Exam this year must understand the eligibility criteria to the fullest. There are three criteria for the IBPS RRB Exam. They are as follows:

Age Limit (As on 01.06.2020)

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose)- Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.06.1992 and later than 01.06.2002 (both dates inclusive).
For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager)- Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1990 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive).
For Officer Scale- II (Manager)- Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1988 and later than 31.05.1999 (both dates inclusive).
For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager)- Above 21 years - Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.190 and later than 31.05.1999 (both dates inclusive).

Highlights of IBPS RRB Clerk Prelims 2020 Exam
- The paper was conducted in Online Mode across different cities.
- It is compulsory to carry Admit Card with an affixed Photograph on it and Original ID proof along with its photocopy as well.
- Each question was of 1 mark each.
- There is a negative marking of one-fourth (1/4) mark for wrong answers.
- Apart from English and Hindi, the exam was held in regional languages also. The questions will appear in English and the selected language as applicable to the state.
- New exam day guidelines issued due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- It is mandatory to have Aarogya Setu App installed on mobile phones
- In case, candidates do not have Aarogya Setu App, they need to fill the self-declaration form.
Phase-II: IBPS RRB Clerks Mains Examination - Candidates who are shortlisted after Preliminary Examination will have to appear for Main Examination.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant Group B 2020, Exam will be conducted in two phases:
No interview process will be conducted for selecting candidates to the post of Office Assistant Group B. Selection will be made purely on the marks obtained by candidate in his/her Mains Examination.
There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect response marked by the candidate. The test will be objective in nature.
