At first vishvamitra was the priest of Bharata kingdom and Sudas was the king later there was some misunderstanding and vashishta was appointed as the priest vishvamitra was sacked. There upon along and bitter rivalry ensued between the two priests and in revenge vishwamitra led the Ten kings against Bharata kingdom.
