World Brain Tumor Day

World Tumor Day is observed on June 8 every year to spread awareness about this deadly disease, ensure its early diagnosis, as well as as pay tribute to brain tumor patients and their families.
The day was first initiated by the German Brain Tumor Association (GBTA) in 2000.
