Explanation:

 1.  The Karakoram is a range of mountains starting in the extreme north of Hindu Kush Range mountain and extending eastward in the north of Baltistan District ends in the northeast corner of the state of the former Northern Areas.

 2.  Greater Himalayas or Himadri or Himagiri comprises all major mountain ranges of the Himalayas.  Among the four parallel ranges of the Himalayas, the Greater Himalaya appears highest, largest and longest. The Main Central Thrust divides the Greater Himalayas and the Lower Himalayas.

3.  The range lies between the Great Himalayas to the northeast and the Siwalik Range (Outer Himalayas) to the southeast and has an average elevation of 12,000 to 15,000 feet (3,700 to 4,500 metres).

4. Siwalik lies south of lesser Himalayas.
