1 and 2 only
Incorrect Answer2 and 3 only
Incorrect AnswerExplanation:
IRNSS is an independent regional navigation satellite system being developed by India. It is designed to provide accurate position information service to users in India as well as the region extending up to 1500 km from its boundary, which is its primary service area. Statement 2 is incorrect.
Out of 8 satellites, 3 satellites are located in suitable orbital slots in the geostationary orbit and the remaining 4 are located in geosynchronous orbits with the required inclination and equatorial crossings in two different planes. So, statement 1 is correct.
There are plans to add more satellite to the IRNSSS and expands it SAARC region, but not time line of 2019 has been given. So, statement 3 is incorrect.
