    The Indian star tortoise is a medium sized species of tortoise found in the dry and arid forests of both Indian and Sri Lanka.

    In India four kinds of monitor lizards occur. They are Bengal monitor lizazd Varanus bengalensis, water monitor lizard Varanus salvator, desert monitor lizard Varanus griseus and yellow monitor lizard Varanus flavescens which are found in various parts of India

    Pygmy Hogs, the smallest and rarest wild pig or hog on the planet. Listed as a critically endangered species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Pygmy Hog is found in mainly in Assam.

    Spider Monkeys live in tropical climates, specifically the evergreen forests of Central and South America. They can also be found as far north as Mexico but not in India.
