The ratio of ages of a man and his son is 3:1. After 15 years, the age ratio will be 2:1. What is the age of the man?

Let the age of Son be x years
After 15 years

( 3 x + 15 ) / ( x + 15 ) = 2/ 1

3x + 15 = 2 ( x + 15 )

3x + 15 = 2x + 30

x = 15

Age of Son is 15 years
Age of man is 45 years
