    Government schemes of Rajasthan related to women health :

    Kalewa Yojana :

     • Funded by NRHM, implemented by DWCD ( Department of Women and Child Development )

    • Free warm and nutritious food

    • implemented At CHC ( Community Health Center ) level

    • Food cooked by Self help groups

    • Proposed  to be extended extended to PHC ( Primary Healthcare Centre ) level

    Deshi Ghee Scheme :

      The five litres of desi ghee being provided to BPL women after first institutional delivery in Rajasthan will now be provided in two parts. The first three litres of ghee will be given to the pregnant woman after the first ANC (test) and the remaining two litres at the time of discharge after delivery.

    • 100 % State Govt. sponsored scheme

    • Implemented in all the districts from 01.03.2009

    • 5 liter Desi Ghee

    • Applicable for First delivery at govt. institution

    •  Identified families of Sahriya and Kathodi tribes under State BPL Antyodaya Anna Yojana

    Benefits :

    •   Fulfill vitamin requirements of newborn through mother

     Major provisions :

    • Coupon of ghee (indicating dairy booth number) given at the time of discharge along with JSY cheque  
    • 24 hours stay at health facility must after delivery

    Pregnancy, Child Tracking & Health Services Management System :

    Pregnancy, Child Tracking & Health Services Management System is an online software used as an effective planning & management tool by Medical, Health & Family Welfare department, Govt. of Rajasthan. The system maintains online data of more than 13000 government health institutions in the state.

    The System facilitates :

    • Integrated system for HMIS and Pregnant woman & child tracking
    • Online tracking of pregnant women
    • Online tracking of infants & children
    • Better health surveillance
    • Better monitoring of immunisation programme
    • Monitoring of institutional delivery
    • Identification of cases for sterilization
    • Better management of health institutions
    • Online directory of health institutions
    • Swasthya Sandesh Seva ( SMS Alerts to Citizen and Health Workers )

    Daati Sumangala Yojana :

    A unique yojana in Distt. Pali, Rajasthan, from 10th Nov’2010 by the name of Daati Sumangala Yojana. Under this yojana in integrate proximity of health and family planning department and by monetary help from Shree Ashwasan Baal Gram Organization (Alawas, Sojat, Distt. Pali sponsored by Shree Shani Dham Trust) ‘Save daughter’ campaign is going to launch not only for BPL families in Pali Distt. also for APL families.

    Aims of Daati Sumangala Yojana :

    • To create awareness about marriage among the girls of age 18 or above.
    • To encourage birth of child after two years of marriage.
    • To inhibit female feticide and encouraging birth of female.
    • To maintain optimum gender ratio.
    • To encourage the difference of 3 yrs. between two children
    • To implement family welfare programme and improve its quality.
    • To encourage copartnership among already pursuing Trusts and social welfare organizations in District.
    • To encourage registration of marriages.
    • To encourage registration of child birth.
    • To reduce the drift between BPL AND APL.

    Santushti Scheme :

    Santushti is a Scheme of Jansankhya Sthirata Kosh (JSK) for high populated states of India viz Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh & Odisha. Under this scheme, Jansankhya Sthirata Kosh, invites private sector gynecologists and vasectomy surgeons (who are already working under NRHM scheme of GoI) to conduct operations in Public Private Partnership mode. According to this Scheme, an accredited private Nursing Home/ Hospital (Quality assurance manual for Sterilization services), working under NHM can sign a MOU with JSK. Upon signing the MOU Pvt. Hospitals/NH shall be entitled for incentive, whenever it conducts 10 or more Tubectomy/Vasectomy cases in a month. To participate in this scheme, Private Hospitals/Nursing Homes may contact either District Chief Medical & Health Officer or Jansankhya Sthirata Kosh.
