Actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood will be honoured with the Humanitarian Award at the 72nd Miss World Festival in Hyderabad for his exceptional contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The recognition highlights his nationwide efforts to support stranded migrants, students, and underprivileged communities through the Sood Charity Foundation.

Key Highlights:

• Sonu Sood will be awarded the Humanitarian Award on May 31, 2025, during the Miss World 2025 finale at the HITEX Arena, Hyderabad.
• He was recognized for his large-scale philanthropic initiatives during the pandemic, including arranging transportation, medical assistance, and food distribution.
• Sood also launched several welfare programs under the Sood Charity Foundation, focusing on education, healthcare, and employment.
• In addition to the award, he will serve as a judge at the Miss World 2025 grand finale.
