The Indian Navy's indigenously built stealth corvette, INS Kiltan, has docked at Singapore's Changi Naval Base to participate in the International Maritime Defence Exhibition (IMDEX) Asia 2025.

Bilateral and Multilateral Engagements: During its stay, the ship's crew will engage in professional exchanges with the Republic of Singapore Navy and other participating navies, aiming to enhance interoperability and mutual understanding. Showcasing Indigenous Capabilities:INS Kiltan, the third of four Kamorta-class anti-submarine warfare corvettes, represents a significant achievement in India's shipbuilding capabilities. With 90% indigenous content, the ship features advanced stealth characteristics, including a carbon fiber composite superstructure, making it nearly invisible to enemy radar.
Technical Specifications: The corvette boasts a displacement of 3,250 tonnes, a length of 109 meters, and a top speed of 25 knots. It is equipped with state-of-the-art weaponry, including torpedoes, rocket launchers, and an integral helicopter, enhancing its anti-submarine warfare capabilities.
