The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) has appointed Dr. Ajay Bhushan Pandey as Vice President of Investment Solutions, effective April 2025. In this role, he will oversee three key departments: Sectors, Themes and Finance Solutions (STF); Sustainability and Fiduciary Solutions (SFD); and Portfolio Management (PMD) .

• Dr. Pandey brings over three decades of experience in public policy and infrastructure development.
• He previously served as India's Finance Secretary and CEO of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).
• His leadership was instrumental in initiatives like Aadhaar, UPI, and the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN).
• At AIIB, he will focus on enhancing investment strategies and promoting sustainable infrastructure projects across the region.
