The Andhra Pradesh government, in partnership with IIT Madras’s Pravartak Technologies Foundation, has launched Vidya Shakti, a pilot digital coaching initiative targeting slow learners in Classes VI–XII. The program is being piloted in 78 schools and colleges to improve foundational learning outcomes through tech-enabled remedial classes, micro-assignments, and data-based progress tracking.

- Digital “Akkas”: Tech-trained teachers serve as digital “akkas” to coordinate online remedial sessions and bridge students, teachers, and tech teams.

- Monitoring & Assessment: A system of baseline tests, weekly micro assignments, and data analytics tracks student progress and informs tailored instruction.
