Context:
=> The State government launched a Swasthya Sewa Utsav in the lines of ‘Gunotsav’ to assess health institutions.
=> The assessment process involved internal evaluations and external evaluators comprising Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, IAS officers, IPS officers, ACS officers, faculty members, doctors, and postgraduate students from medical colleges.
3 Assessment Criteria:
1. Infrastructure
- Assessing the physical condition and adequacy of health facilities.
2. Human Resources
- Evaluating the availability and competency of healthcare personnel.
3. Service Delivery
- Reviewing the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services provided to the community.
